Life lesson: Resilience germinates in Costa Rica
Learn about the type of projects we support, through the story of Mayra Monge, who has dedicated her life to caring for and restoring forests, through her work at the Professional Technical College of Upala, in Costa Rica’s Northern Zone.
Over 30 years, Mayra has taught hundreds of young people to care for and protect their futures, through the planting of trees.
The nursery’s trees – trees that Mayra, CTP staff, and students germinated – are available for purchase to schools, colleges, community projects, national parks, government institutions, private companies, community aqueducts, and other organizations that want to plant trees as part of the Huella del Futuro #Footprint4ourFuture program.
