The Environmental Bank Foundation (FUNBAM) is committed to the protection and privacy of data, as regulated by Law 8968 on the Protection of the Person Against the Treatment of Personal Data, as well as its respective regulations, with jurisdiction in the Republic of Costa Rica.

This Privacy Policy will be applicable to all users who visit the Website and carry out monetary donation transactions through it. By accepting the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, users confirm that they are informed and agree that FUNBAM will take commercially reasonable security measures to guarantee the integrity of the Website.

FUNBAM could modify this Privacy Policy at any time, due to new needs or changes in current regulations. The communication of any change to the Privacy Policy will be carried out through publishing an updated version on the Website; there will be no obligation to individually notify users of any modifications made. Therefore, users accept that it will be their sole responsibility to periodically review the Website, in order to verify any changes to this Privacy Policy. What Information Does Huella del Futuro Collect?

To finalize a donation transaction on the Website, the user must register their name, identification number, email and nationality, for which they must provide accurate and truthful information. This information is compiled by FUNBAM to guarantee the traceability of monetary donations and transparency regarding the origin of funds raised. FUNBAM is committed to treating data in a secure manner.

Likewise, the Website may collect information regarding name, email, telephone number, address and project summary, sent by users who wish to be part of the Huella del Futuro #Footprint4ourFuture  program.

Additionally, FUNBAM may collect specific information provided by the device used to access the Website. • Make recent donations visible on the main page of the Website, through a system of badges and according to the received transaction amounts. Only the name of the user who registered the donation would appear in this section.
• Provide users with information on program activities and the progress of the Huella del Futuro program.
• Respond to requests for information and any contact from people who want to be part of the Huella del Futuro #Footprint4ourFuture  program.
• Evaluate and analyze the proper function of our Websites by, for example, statistical studies on the frequency and times of visits to our Website.
• Adopt measures that allow FUNBAM to implement strategies aimed at increasing the number of people interested in the Huella del Futuro program.

• Any collected personal information could be shared by FUNBAM, in the case that it is necessary to address any of the following special situations:
